At my current job and in my social work masters program I am reminded constantly about self-care. It essential that everyone makes time every week to do things they enjoy and de-stress. Take care of your mind, body and soul! That way you can be refreshed and your very best. Monday, MLK Day, My friend Diana and I visited Spa Castle in College Point,Queens, NY. Admission was $50 dollars for the entire day. They open at 8am and close 12 am. Admission includes all the saunas in Sauna Valley. Which included a Gold Sauna, Loess Soil Sauna, Jade Sauna, Color Thearpy, Himalayan Salt, Infrared Zone and Ice Land. It also includes hot tubs and hydrotherapy foot and body massage jets both indoor and outdoors. In addition, there’s a aqua bar where you can sip on some cocktails in the pool. Other services such as massages, scrubs, and facials are available at a additional cost. I really loved how all guest are given an electronic watch that opens and closes your assigned locker and can also be scanned when you make purchases. Purchases are charged to your account and paid before you leave the spa.
For Halloween we went up to Ryan’s dad’s in Port Jervis, NY for the weekend. Ryan’s dad always has the best Halloween decor. Every year it just keeps getting better. For my Halloween costume, I dressed up as Kane from WWE. “The devils favorite demon 👹” & one of my favorite wrestler.
