Women’s History Month Week #1


In honor of Women’s History Month, I will be uploading weekly facts and quotes regarding women’s history reflecting on the past and the present

Week 1 : In 1918, the UK granted women over the age of 30 who were householders, the wives of householders, occupiers of property with an annual rent of £5, and graduates of British universities the right to vote. In the United States, women were granted the right to vote in 1920.


Wyoming was the first state to grant women the right to vote.
