Ideal Farm in Lafayette Township,NJ πŸŽƒβ˜”οΈπŸ‚πŸ

Saturday was a chilly and rainy day but I thought it was beautiful weather with the fall leaves falling and flying everywhere! We woke up bright and early to start our voyage up north. The plan was to go pumpkin picking near Jay’s cousins, about an hour away. Along the road were many farms and open land. The trees and hills presented a beautiful landscape as we drove.

*Rainy day = less crowds* πŸ˜‰

I had never been in the area we were exploring but I found the drive very relaxing. Jays family had been going to this farm for years. The farm was filled with Halloween decor, I was in my element for sure .

We purchased our tickets at this toll booth for the tractor ride that would bring us up to the pumpkin patch.

Cost: $1
The farm had a handful of ammentities including wooded cut outs to take funny pictures, a haunted house, a bakery, petting zoo, crisp apples, fresh apple cider, homemade apple cider donuts and various homemade/ local products. Yummmmy.

And these two babies below were the winners we took home ! Can’t wait to carve them and roast some seeds.

Cost: around $10 each
